Societal despondence, your true Angst

You can’t agree on anything. You don’t like each other. You need to get away, but there is no where to go except out.

It is not your fault. There is something seriously wrong with human society. Can it be fixed?

The wilderness used to provide you with your escape where you could run and be wild with no law, but that is gone. You circle in on each other in your society and point and blame and imprison each other for your lack of your wild freedom and you do unjust entrapment and murder.

Your children are born to your disease of megalomania and oppression under the guise of your historical struggle for freedom when truly you are a carnivorous beast with no sense of the ideology that compels you. God save that you would have a brain to stop your lust.

Stop. Stop building, stop fornicating, stop illegitimacy of the child, stop gambling, stop lying, stop hating, stop being prideful, stop killing, and stop your wicked imaginations.

But I fear you are not smart enough to know the six, yea seven things that the Lord doth hate.

Can it be fixed? I fear not.

Angst

Existential theory goes like this… A man walks to the edge of a cliff and has fear that he could fall over the edge and die, but he then stops, meditates and thinks, what if I just throw myself over the edge. Thus is your angst, the temptation and quizzical, personal challenge of your existential life or existence.

When you were a child and you approached the loose tooth in your jaw and you pondered pulling it out or not, you had ‘angst.’ While you took days pushing and pulling on the tooth or whether you pulled it out or not, is not a measure or your bravado, for in the sleep of death what dreams may come.

I am quoting Shakespeare’s mortal coil. If you do not know what that means, try a Google search.

We are continually at the precipice of the best we can be and need not throw ourselves off the cliff to prove our sacrifice.

Megalomania is a disease as bad as cancer. It is okay to be simple. Stop the madness.

God wants you broken and dead

You are trying to fix what is broken. You are trying to solve the insolvable. You want life eternal but your logic and intellect fails and in your angst you blame God. Who else can you blame for your condition? It is certainly not your fault. No one asked you if you wanted to be born and all of this is certainly not your solipsism.

Yet you support and promote… What is it that you support and promote?

You support violence, you support megalomania, you support idolatry and icons, and you support the love of the rich and famous and a machine that cannot stop its blatant consumption of more and more want and the slaves that feed its needs.

Come home to real life. It is possible. Just start a garden, read a book and slow down. What you need is right out your back door in the dirt.

Now about the broken and dead part, read “The Children of the Seven Hills” and you will understand.

Your love of violence

 Justifiable violence is the defense of life and limb from oppression. The civil war of the US, The Bolshevik revolution, WWI, WWII, The Korean conflict, Vietnam, the Contra war in Nicaragua, the coup of Pinochet in Chili and his prosecution for war crimes.

You may question many of these as you chose your side. Is it indignation that compels you to violent recourse? Sometimes, Perhaps, but are you justified?

You are a violent person. You get in your car and immediately you are a worrier flipping the finger at the oppressor who cut you off.

Just yesterday at the air show in Las Vegas Nevada a plane crashed and people were killed. They were just spectators but it was their love of violence that took them to the show. Think about it.

What you really want is the Roman Gladiators duel to the death. You condone it everyday with your money and support.

You get what you deserve. “Thou shalt not tempt the lord thy God”

A violent world gets violence. What do you expect?

How do you catch a monkey?

Shaka kaSenzangakhona the Zulu chief conquered by the English in the 18th century made a political statement that astounded the English commanders and statesmen.

How do you catch a monkey? His response was “You put something shiny in a bottle.”

The monkey will reach in and grab the shiny thing and grasp it. The monkey so wants the shiny thing that it will not let go. It cannot speed away with the weight of the bottle and it will not let go. You can then grab the monkey and roast it for dinner.

Watching a newscast of the Emmy’s and all the fashions and jewels and the so called beautiful people in all their regalia appears to me to be monkeys caught with the shiny things.

Mindless robots being lead by the blind megalomaniacs and you do not even see it.

Come home to real life and away from the idolatry of the big enterprise. Learn something of value. Grow food, raise animals, read books, play with your kids. It is not too late.

 

A NECESSARY SEPARATION

Innocence is a necessary separation from the adult world. This is something that people understood years ago. That is why we have age separation with the age for a driver’s license and the minimum age to drink. It is why we prevent minors from smoking which is the first vice they sneak.

You are not getting this… Children steal their sneak into the adult world of corruption. Allow their brief freedom and hide your addiction to debauchery or perhaps clean up your act and become a good person.

Let children be children and grow up at their own pace without exposure to decadence.

Whey is the way

Come home and do it the way Grandma did. Take a cucumber and slice it up. Buy a quart of natural plain yogurt and with your kitchen strainer and some cheese cloth or a sterile towel, put the yogurt in this simple sieve and allow the whey to drain out.

What is left is cream cheese that you can eat on crackers and the liquid whey.

Now put your cumbers in a quart Mason jar or Ball jar. It needs a tight sealing lid to keep oxygen away from your preserves. Add a little dill seed and a pinch of salt and four tablespoons of your whey liquid. Add just a little water, preferably distilled or processed water that is sterile and bacteria free.

Three days at room temperature or 72 degrees and you have preserved cucumber. You can keep it in the fridge for months.

Now what’s the point? Food manufacturers cannot use this method and you are missing an important nutrition in vitamins and especially lactic acid and lactobacilli in your digestive process.

Food processors pasteurize to kill all fermentation. Then they add nitrates, salt and mono-sodium glutamate.

You need real food, not processed crap. Come home to a real life and make your own food. It is not hard and it is fun.

Any vegetable and fruit can be preserved this way and the flavor is incredible.

Who are you?

Striving in the sea of humanity I long ago realized that life is a matter of ‘how long can you tread water.’ Theologically it was posed in the parable of Adam and Eve in the Book of ‘Genesis’ in the Bible that when God accordingly cast them out of the Garden of Eden they were to do labor.

I do suggest to you and especially to our children that do not even have the where-with-all to know what parable means, that Adam and Eve is a parable. You are beset with labor and are failing in your solutions.

You have lost all of your ideological history and you do not know where you came from if you ever did.

Organic growing - I did this

Postage stamp repeatable organic growing technique. I did this on my farm in Texas.

It uses southern climate abilities. I am giving this away because I am old and failing
and I fear it will be lost.

Look closely, it uses water holds with fish and aquatic life that feed beneficial insects like dragonflies and wasps and ladybugs that eat the detrimental insects that destroy crops. It uses nitrogen fixing sugar cane as fertilizer and phosphorus from the self provided fish. It uses solar distillers to provide fresh water from wells that feed and water the fields.

It uses native citrus tree for necessary acidification and the native forests for wind block and protection.

The sugarcane is mulched and cast into the fields periodically as well as the citrus. In northern climates this could be replaced with legumes (beans) and apples or wild pears. The fish ponds are essential and will work anywhere.

I had a dream

I had a dream…

Everyone had a disk shaped house that was positioned on a column above flood level and the column descended into the ground like a giant pillar and in the pillar was a cistern that collected rain water. On the roof was a wind turbine and solar panels and the home was self sufficient.

The reason for the disk shaped house is that it was designed aerodynamic to be safe from tornados and hurricanes. It was elevated to be safe from floods. Beneath the disk and column were the cars or transportation vehicles that were powered by the solar and wind chargers from the house above. They were designed for short excursions to visit friends and neighbors.

Around the dwelling were fields of diverse crops and water holds of fishes and marshes and wooded enclaves that only the dreams of gods could conceive.

We could do this, but you are not willing…

Contempt

Replicator

Replicator – Do you believe that in the future of scientific development we will have the inimitable Star Trek replicator or perhaps the transporter? All you have to do is ask it for food or whatever you want and it magically assembles the atoms to produce your desired or projects you anywhere you want.  Science and science dreams have produced a false future that many people and their children believe will happen if we just wish hard enough. The movies say it is so, so it must be. Let’s get real. Let us deal with real science and not fiction. Do not stop dreaming, just deal with the real. Are you or your children being deluded with 3D dreams? Can you tell what real science is and what is not? You are sleeping. The universe is not what it seems. Star Trek is a fiction. Your children no longer play in the real world but rather spend all of their time in illusion.

You're a Nobody

You are a nobody – Do you want your tax dollars to go for space research? Do you want your tax dollars to go for Ocean research? Do you want your tax dollars to go for cancer research? How about artificial intelligence or cryptographic espionage? The clandestine services of “Home land Security” have Cart Blanch. What do you want your world to look like in the future? You are being fed digital dreams. You have been lulled to sleep.  You are robots feeding the machine. You are the matrix feeding the Fed in their idea of what the future should be. You are robots making more machines. That is all you are.

I see organic farm culture with diverse housing and a broad agricultural expanse of lakes and fields of high tech civilization in non combustion homes fueled by solar, wind and geothermal. There is nothing wrong with Star Trek unless it is a lie. Think again.

The Congress funds the National Science Foundation to do research. They take your money and research their future. What is your desire for the future?

Chicken

Chicken – I have been a cognizant food shopper for years. Wal-Mart carries organic, free range, hormone and antibiotic free chicken. It costs about a dollar more than Tyson or Perdue genetically modified and hormone pumped antibiotic flaccid flesh. Now let me explain. I started with free range cage free organic brown eggs because the shells are hard to break, the yokes are deep yellow and they cook up firm as opposed to thin shelled break in your hand before you can crack the shell wimpy yoke placid eggs.

Placid is the point. Genetically modified chickens are weak. They are grown in dark factories away from sunlight and grow inordinately and unnaturally and unhealthful to produce large meat portions as fast as possible. They are placid and flaccid and often die of congestive heart failure because they cannot carry their inordinate weight.

Free range chickens on the other hand are strong, healthy durable animals. They are not placid or flaccid or weak. Try it for yourself. Cook a factory chicken and a free range chicken side by side and taste the difference. Truth is you are being fed genetically modified crap. The same goes for beef and pork. Don’t put in you mouth what the food corps are giving you. Think about your food.

Organic Vegetables

My editor said, “Why would you post a negative?” She was referring to my bio where I state that I failed miserably at organic farming. I responded, “In a world of contrived presentations of ego, integrity and truth have no place.” Thus I would like to elaborate.

I had become entangled in the term “organic.” I is not enough that a so called “Organic Farmer” is dealing with all the forces of nature to produce pure unadulterated food, this farmer is also over lorded by a State and Federal agency that determines or rather licenses’ the use of the term “Organic.”

Disagreement with the powers that be is a cost beyond a small farmer. Let us just say that they threaten your buyers and kill your market. Yes the Feds disallow you and make you go away.

I then developed a new food label called, “SWS PURENE VEGETABLES” This stood for “Sun Water and Soil pure vegetables,” above organic standards. This was an open farm process were anyone could come and see the growing purity. I also stated that these were “Bureaucratic Free Vegetables.” Now you have to know what that means…

Just because you have a food product labeled “Organic” does not mean it is somehow magically good for you to eat. Organic standards are flawed in that just because a toxin is a natural toxin used to kill bugs, it is somehow okay. Another example; cow manure as a fertilizer is acceptable even though it is laden with hormones, antibiotics, antifungal compounds and anti-parasite medications.

Regulation of the label “Organic” is fraught with complications and corruptions. Organic Farmers just play the game with the inspectors and then do whatever is in their best interest to keep their prices high and their food product under the radar. In short they cheat. I was not interested in exposing all the cheaters and inane inspectors.

I was black listed at a critical time and lost my sales channel by threat from the Texas Department of Agriculture. My vegetables were above organic standards but I was bureaucratically disallowed.

Just because the label says it is “Organic” does not mean it is safe. The question really is what is nontoxic and naturally unfettered?

So did I fail miserably? Perhaps I failed to fight the bureaucracy effectively but my growing techniques were a fabulous success. I chose to continue the fight another way.

Agape

I was inspired by my nephew's love loss.

Greek has four words for love…
Storge – affection
Philia – friendship
Eros – passionate/sexual
Agape – brotherly/parental also denoted as true love.

All of these types of love except Eros require no reciprocation i.e. you give love because you want to, while expecting nothing in return. Eros is selfish. Eros needs. Eros wants.

Eros is a lie, lose it. I love the Hibiscus flower; it has no capacity to love me in return.

Great expectations of love suffer only the searcher in vain and when discovered, my fickle nature, I loved only the idea of you loving me. I shroud this in a drape of images in my mind, your lovely face, your statures casual lean, your distinctive voice and your unique demeanor. I have this all wrapped up in a neat little package which are all the things I love about you. It was subtle and cautious as we tip toed into love, both willing and wanton to hear those words come from the lips. I love you.

And now that you have fallen into my lovers trap, I expect you to be the person I have imaged you to be. Familiar, unchanging and sure to respond with the words, I love you, when I beckon with the words of the same. And on the day that you don’t respond to my call for a love assured, I don’t love you, I don’t want you, I don’t need you, anymore. Because, short of your adorable aura, it was me loving me through the eyes of you, and like the true narcissists we are, you were only in the way of my greatest love which is me.

Now when you are done abusing yourself searching for that one true love, give yourself the greatest gift of agape the brotherly love. You love someone just because you love them with nothing in return. All else is wanton and lustful and vain and truly the God Eros is teasing you to fail at the price of your foolish heart. And when you catch them or you are caught, the lust will be done and what love have you, but none.

I have never read a book like this: It was written in a heartfelt manner, sometimes sad and overwhelming, sometimes lighthearted with poetry.....a unique description of how we realize when we become adults and from that point forward, how we choose to deal with life....all the ironies and mysteries of the travel through it.

And now we have a way to help interpret our feelings and direction through dreaming.

It was a quick read that lasted one day....it took two more days of intense thought to decide how I would incorporate this new knowledge into my life's journey...and to marvel at the author's life and experiences, a profound introspection.

Being a pragmatic and practical traveler with a very busy and involved life, I chose to try simply to remember my dreams, enjoy them, understand them and use them to forecast possibilities -- a way to give myself the permission to reach for new paths.

Demagoguery

It does not matter that the right wing has no answer to the economic problems. They have suffered demagoguery so long that they follow failure without question. Playing on the fear that the communists are taking over and taxes on the rich prevent job creation and trickle down bread crumbs. The relaxation of regulations and taxes on megalomaniacs has allowed the wholesale stripping of manufacturing from this country for cheap labor. The balance of trade shifted and product influx continued by unregulated banks lending and encouraging lending beyond any ability of the population to absorb (consume) the inventory (inflated housing). We cannot be apologetic about the need to govern; especially the governance of the powerful. We the people, all of us, govern this country, not the rich. Megalomania is a disease that is festered by deregulation. There is a communist hiding in our society they claim and we the right wing will save you from him if only you will elect us to defend you and protect your freedom. They love dividing people united in a common cause because in anarchy you can steal much. The wilderness is gone, there is no place to hide, we must live together and share our resource and limit our consumption by the rule of law and the constitution of the United States that protects that law.
